emTRUTH, whose mission is to help healthcare companies unlock the full value of their data, today announced the addition of Joyce Nuesca, MD, to the Company’s Healthcare Advisory Board.


Dr. Nuesca, a board-certified and licensed physician executive, is a distinguished addition to the emTRUTH Healthcare Advisory Board. Members include leaders and clinicians who represent the provider, payer, pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare technology sectors who are focused on enabling secure and easy access to healthcare data, from anywhere, in any standard or size. Nuesca adds more than 15 years of experience with providers and health plans. She has implemented value-based healthcare delivery for some of the most innovative healthcare systems in the US and, in doing so, fostered effective, productive payer-provider partnerships.

Nuesca is an innovator and thought leader with a passion for improving access, quality of care, and the patient experience. She is currently the West Market Medical Leader for Oscar Health, Inc. ("Oscar") (NYSE: OSCR). Prior to her work with Oscar, Nuesca worked with leading payer organizations, clinics, and hospitals, where she was involved in developing and implementing new care models and new payment models. Her efforts have resulted in collaborative partnerships with physicians and health systems in support of clinical and operational improvement and transformation. This includes behavioral health - primary care integration, expansion of clinical services, redesigned care management and quality programs, and implementation of electronic healthcare record and quality, and population health management data platforms.

Nuesca completed her medical residency at Mount Sinai - Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and fellowship in Obstetrics and Women's Health at USC Keck School of Medicine. She also holds a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from UCI Paul Mirage Business School as well as a Master of Applied Science in Population Health Management from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
