Data privacy and security is important to us.  We do not sell user data nor do we monetize our customers' or users' data.

In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

When you use our website, as part of the process, we may collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated under Why We Collect Information.

emTRUTH data platform and application services will not share any data in our system provided by companies or individuals who own and control their own data. Analytics for our subscribers are specific to each respective data owner. We collect system usage data to improve our offered services. 

 

Why We Collect Information

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and messages;

Our company website (www.emtruth.com) is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to tell you about our products and services. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

Our data platform and app services are hosted on AWS GovCloud, AWS international data centers or IBM HyperProtect, the securest regions of cloud services for the best in data protection and privacy. emTRUTH's entire technology stack is encrypted in transit and at rest. Additionally, blockchain technology is used to provide more granular data security and protection. You own your data in blockchain and emTRUTH does not monetize your data.

 

How We Communicate with You

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

 

How We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Tools

emTRUTH data platform and applications do not use cookies for tracking purposes. We, along with third-party vendors such as Google, use first-party cookies (such as Google Analytics cookies) or other third-party identifiers together to compile data regarding website visits, usage and other web traffic functions.

 

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since all browsers are a little different, look at your browser's Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

How to Access, Change or Delete Your Personal Information 

Your personal information is entered and managed by you or your system administrator within your company. To view or change your personal information, access your user settings or contact your company’s system administrator. To delete your personal information, contact emTRUTH at info@emTRUTH.com

Does our site allow third-party behavioral tracking?

We do not allow third-party behavioral tracking.

Protection of Personal Information Concerning Children 

emTRUTH does not market to children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect, or store personal information from children under the age of 13. emTRUTH is committed to protecting the privacy of children and if emTRUTH becomes aware that such information was collected, it will treat that information as sensitive. 


If parents become aware that their child has provided emTRUTH with personal information without their consent, they can ask us to remove such personal information and terminate the child’s account by sending an email to info@emtruth.com

Fair Information Practices 

Should a data breach occur, we will notify you via email within 7 business days. We agree with the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. We agree that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
